It is determined by the ambient temperature. The higher the ambient temperature, the higher the condensation temperature. Generally, the air-cooled condenser is adopted, and the condensation temperature is 7 ~ 12 ℃ higher than the ambient temperature. This value is called the heat exchange temperature difference. The higher the condensation temperature is, the lower the refrigeration efficiency of the refrigeration unit will be, so we should control the heat exchange temperature difference not to be too large. However, if the temperature difference of heat exchange is too small, the larger the heat exchange area and circulating air volume of the air-cooled condenser, the higher the cost of the air-cooled condenser.
The temperature limit shall not be higher than 55 ℃ and not lower than 20 ℃. Generally, air-cooled condensers are not recommended in areas where the ambient temperature exceeds 42 ℃. Therefore, whether the air-cooled condenser can be selected or not, the ambient temperature must be confirmed first. In general, when designing air-cooled ice maker, customers must be required to provide local annual high ambient dry bulb temperature.
The higher the ambient temperature, the lower the heat dissipation efficiency and the worse the refrigeration efficiency of the air-cooled condenser. The temperature limit of the air-cooled condenser is not higher than 50 ℃ and not lower than 20 ℃. Generally, air-cooled condensers are not recommended in areas where the ambient temperature exceeds 38 ℃. Therefore, whether to select air-cooled condenser or not, first confirm the ambient temperature.
